Suzanne Beatrice (Ramsay) Moreira passed away Christmas evening after a brave battle against pancreatic cancer. She was born to Lewis and Rose (Bastow) Ramsay on September 20th, 1940. Though raised in Riverside RI, Bristol soon became her home, living there for well over fifty years. Sue was a loving mom to her three boys, Mark, David (Pam), and Matthew (Meredith). She was often seen with her camera in hand, capturing the beauty in and around Bristol, enjoying time at the Elks, serving at Bristol's First Congregational Church, working for Lucent Technologies as an Internal Sales Manager, spending time with her beloved dog Jazzie, and enjoying all things lobster. Her golden years were blessed with five grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Emily, Samantha, and Vivien; she also designed and built her dream home on the water. She loved hosting events, like her Fourth of July gatherings, for her family and was known as the "Hostess with the Mostess" and "Queen of Appetizers," famed for her extraordinary deviled eggs and cucumber hors d'oeuvres. Her acts exhibited a life of service to all she loved. She was noted as one of the strongest, most determined, loyal, and focused people you could ever meet. Even into her last days, she made time to be with her family and get on the floor to play with her youngest granddaughter. Although her passing was on Christmas, her final week was started celebrating the holiday as a family with her sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. In those moments, she was surrounded by those who meant everything to her, who made her smile the most, loved her, and who will forever carry her legacy into the next generations.
