Sheila Hope (Longo) Catalano

Sheila H. (Longo) Catalano, 8o, passed away on November 30th, the daughter of the late Albert Sr and Ruth M (Crescenzo) Longo.  She was the partner of Sally Erickson of Johnston for 37 years.  Born in Providence, she was a graduate of Johnston High School, class of 1963.

After she retired from George Fuller Company of Pawtucket in 2005, she turned her love of sewing and dogs into Puppies Elite, making custom dogware for various private customers and pet boutiques throughout Rhode Island.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn Borek and husband Derek of Southport, North Carolina; brothers Albert Longo Jr. of Johnston and Bruce Longo of Cranston. 

A celebration of her life will be held in her honor in July.  In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the Bayview Rehab at Scalabrini Activities Fund, 860 N. Quidnessett Rd. North Kingstown, RI 02852.
