Sharon Moskwa Obituary

Sharon A. Moskwa, 63, of Coventry, RI. passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends after a nearly two-year battle with lung cancer, on Wednesday March 11th 2020. Her last day was spent in the loving hands of the caring staff at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI.

Sharon was born in Fall River, MA on January 19th, 1957 and was raised in Barrington, RI. Sharon is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Jim Moskwa. Sharon and Jim are loving parents to their cats, Lily & Elliot and Murray (deceased). And by her loving mother Eleanor (Lombardi) Medici of Greenville, RI and brother Richard Medici of Seekonk, MA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Angelo Medici.

Sharon attended the University of Rhode Island, class of 1979 where she obtained a B.S. Textiles and Business. Attended Barrington High School, class of 1975. While in high school, Sharon was in theater arts and played flute in the Barrington High School Band.

Sharon was a Realtor & Marketing Consultant with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage (East Greenwich, RI office), since 2005. Worked in sales and customer service at Concordia Fibers, Coventry, RI 2000 to 2004. Worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Coats North America, Bristol, RI 1984 to 2000.

Through her career she accrued many professional achievements that include:
2011-2015 Five Star Professional-RI Monthly Magazine,
Accredited Real Estate Professional-Coldwell Banker,
Accredited Buyers' Representative, and Relocation Specialist.
Sharon was also a member of the Kent Washington Board or Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
Sharon was also active in her community and with charities including participating in Coldwell Bankers Cares, American Heart Association, and serving as Treasurer, and then President of the Walker Ridge Homeowners Association.

Sharon loved to travel and see new places with her husband Jim, with a special love of the Tuscan region of Italy. Together Sharon and Jim have traveled to Alaska, California, Utah and Vermont to mention a few places in the US. Along with Mexico, parts of the Caribbean and Italy. Sharon and Jim loved traveling in Italy and made several trips there over the years. She loved to try new foods and good wines especially in the company of good friends.
