Robert R. Parker 76, of Riverside, RI passed away on December 24, 2019. He worked for the City of East Providence, RI for thirty years before retiring as an Assistant Electrical Mechanical Supervisor. Robert was also a special needs bus driver for three and a half years.
Married for forty six years he was the husband of Dolores R. (Paulhus) Parker, born in Providence, RI., he was the son of the late Thomas R. and Leonilda (Teixeira) Parker and brother of the late Thomas R. Parker Jr.
Robert was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a member of the American Legion Post #10 of Riverside, RI, a life member of the Good Sam Camping Club and a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and the REO Club of America, also the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts. He enjoyed traveling, camping and antique autos.
Besides his wife Dolores, he leaves two sons, Robert V. Province III and Scott R. Parker both of Riverside, RI. A daughter, Patricia C. Frye of Maine, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 30, 2019 at the Smith-Mason Funeral home 398 Willett Ave Riverside, RI at 6:30PM. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM.
