Johnson, Nancy Edna, 64 of East Providence passed peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Welt) Johnson. She was a lifelong resident of East Providence. Reading was one of her greatest pleasures. Nancy was an amateur historian who also loved to needlepoint, knit, and crochet. Her joy and love in life was her family and friends. She was a Consumer Loan Underwriter with Santander Bank in East Providence until her illness. She is survived by a sister Linda Cimini and her husband Arthur of Lincoln, a brother Richard Johnson of East Providence, and her goddaughter and niece, Victoria Roe of Lincoln. She was the sister of the late David Johnson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 7 in the Wesley United Methodist Church, 55 Woodland Street Lincoln, RI 02865, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701, would be greatly appreciated.
