Martha Alice McLaughlin

89, of Barrington, RI passed away on February 27, 2018 at RIH. She was the wife of the late John J. McLaughlin for 56 years and daughter to the late Francis and Sophia (Gesicki) Garson.

She was a Barrington School teacher for 30 years and enjoyed tennis, reading, bridge, and Phoebe, her dog.

She leaves behind two daughters Maureen M. Morris and her husband Ray of Barrington, and Eileen M. Higgins and her late husband Jay also of Barrington. She also leaves five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Martha was predeceased by her two sisters Mildred Golembeski and Florence Franklin.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday March 3, 2017 at 9:30 AM with calling hours from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM in St. Luke’s Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington, RI 02806.
