Clegg, Margery Elizabeth (Boylan) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on June 11, 2015 after a brief illness. She was 74. Margie, as she was known, worked for over 3 decades in the Barrington school system, primarily at the Hampden Meadows Elementary School and was well known and loved by generations of students, faculty and administrators. A native of Burrillville, she was a Barrington resident for over 50 years until her death. She was predeceased by her father David Henry Boylan, her mother Marion Elizabeth (Doyle) Boylan and a brother John Boylan. She is survived by her sister, Anne Mary (Boylan) Kraunelis as well as her loving husband of 53 years Sylvester (Buster) Clegg; and their 4 children; a son, Buster, his wife Rebecca and their 5 children Ben, Olivia, Aidan, Isabel and Quinn; a daughter, Anne (Piette), her husband Stephen and their 2 children Chris and Lily; a son, Chris, his wife Barbara, and their 2 children Courtney and Cam; and a son Pat, his wife Carrie and their 3 children Patrick, Colin and Aidan, as well as 5 nieces, 6 nephews and scores of friends. The funeral will be held on Tuesday June 16th at 8:45 AM from the Smith-Mason Funeral Home 398 Willett Avenue Riverside with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke’s Church 108 Washington Road Barrington at 10 AM. Calling hours are Monday 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the RI ASPCA 186 Amaral Street Riverside 02915 would be appreciated.
