Uncle Manny was the first one in our family to become a christian. I remember him as always having a big smile on his face whenever I saw him. He would always hug my children in church every Sunday and offer them some Mentos. He did a great job teaching at his care group bible study that was held once a month in his home for many years. He would go and visit my father (his brother) often and bring him homemade food which my father loved. Most of all he was a Great Man of God and will be greatly missed.

To Linda and Rick, Candace and I were very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. His and Sally's close relationship with our parents made both of our families seem like a big happy one! At get togethers he and I would, time after time, sit down together-with a beer in hand- and talk about his 'life on the river'. I enjoyed listening to him tell about his "cleaning up" and boating home with a big bag of 'littlenecks' to sell, and 'Giants' for making that nice pot of chowder that he was famous for. "You made a nice life for yourself, Manny, and I'm sure the next journey will be eternally peaceful... Carleton Waugh
