Andrade, Manuel A., 85, of Barrington died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, June 1, 2016. He was the husband of Sally (Hardie) Andrade. Manuel was born in Portsmouth, RI and was the son of the late John Andrade and Maria (Dutra) Andrade. He was the youngest of thirteen brothers and sisters. Manuel grew up on a farm but worked as a self-employed quahogger as an adult. He was also a dedicated Deacon for many years at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Swansea, MA .
Manuel leaves behind four daughters; Diana Felix of East Providence, Linda Waugh of Barrington, Sally DesRosiers of Warren, and Jane Froias of Bristol, a sister, Irene Prezioso of Bristol, twelve Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren. Manny enjoyed spending time gardening and cooking. He was famous for his delicious clam chowder.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11AM at the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, 135 New Meadow Road, Swansea, MA 02777 to which relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
