Hall, Laurel Marie, 70,
formerly of Forbes Street, Riverside died Saturday.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late George and Minna (Chapman) Megathlin, she has lived in Riverside most of her life. Laurel was a retired Accounting Specialist who had a long career in the industry. She enjoyed playing softball in her earlier age, bowling, cribbage, and loved playing cards with family and friends.
She leaves two sons, Jason Frederic Hall and his wife Patti of Maryland, Dana Robert Hall and his fiancé Sara Buswell of Riverside. She also leaves three sisters, Linda Carlson and her husband Donald, Meredith Watson, and the late Joan Diane Megathlin, all of Riverside. Laurel also leaves behind three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside. Calling hours are Thursday, October 8th 5 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Little Neck Cemetery, Riverside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society RI Chapter, 222 Richmond Street Suite 200, Providence, 02903 would be appreciated.
