Kristen passed unexpectedly on October 20, 2015
Born April 6, 1965, Kristen was a lifelong resident of Riverside, RI. She was the daughter of the late John F. McCarthy and Eleanor J. (Shakel) McCarthy.
Kristen was a 1983 graduate of St. Mary’s Academy Bay View. Kristen will be remembered as a compassionate person towards others and for her kindness to animals. She loved her family and was very devoted to God.
Kristen is survived by her brother John McCarthy & his wife Lynn of Attleboro, MA and her two sisters Susan Miller of Seekonk, MA and Gail McCarthy of Riverside, RI. Kristen is also survived by her five nephews and one niece, who she loved with all her heart. Kristen will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her visitation will be held at Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue Riverside, RI, on Monday October 26 at 8:30 AM. Following the visitation there will be a service at St. Brendan’s Church, 60 Turner Ave, Riverside, RI, at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Brendan’s Church, Riverside, RI where Kristen was a parishioner her entire life. The Priests of St. Brendan’s were always extraordinarily kind to Kristen.
