Judith H. (Harmon) Puleston

Puleston, Judith H., age 85 of Barrington, RI passed away peacefully in her home on March 2, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Vaughan and Lois (Morse) Harmon and grew up in Winchester, MA. She was a graduate of The Winsor School and Boston University College of Education. She received a Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and social work from Rhode Island College and later worked in private practice in Providence.She and former husband Bob survived an airplane accident in 1970. To aid in her recovery, she began therapeutic lap swimming at the Barrington YMCA and extended her interest in the sport to competing in New England Masters swimming events locally and around the country. Judy developed many interests over the years: photography, kayaking, several book clubs and the Hameho Garden Club.

Judy leaves behind LP ‘Laurie’ Lawrence (Dan Sullivan), Stephen Puleston (Diane), Kate Puleston, Sarah Prunk (Eric Janson) and four grandchildren (Emily Angell (Richard), Kyle, Ashley and Stephen Prunk) and three great grandchildren (Richard, Grant and Alexia). She was the older sister of Margo Freeman (Bob).
