Janice M. Kane

Kane, Janice M. 76 of Orchard View Manor in East Providence passed away on Monday, July 10th. Born in Riverside she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Caplette) Kane. She was the youngest of 15 children and is survived by her 3 sisters Anne Andrews of Riverside, Helen Critz of Texas and Norma Carr of East Providence. Janice leaves behind cherished family members and many friends whom she always made laugh. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside, RI. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 9:00-10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery,  550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, RI to which relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
