Hamilton, Janet Byrne (Parker), 72, of Hope Street Bristol died Tuesday at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Richard Byrne and Earl D. Hamilton. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Karl and Elizabeth Parker. Jan was a teacher at the Mary C. Wheeler School until retiring. She had also worked at 4 Town Farm for many years. She was a member of the Barrington Yacht Club. She leaves 3 sons, Thomas Byrne (Maia) of Barrington, Timothy Byrne (Tracy) of Warren, Geoffrey Byrne (Paige) of Bristol, 3 step-sons, Dean Hamilton (Susan) of North Kingstown, Donn (Michele) Hamilton of Cumberland, Neal (Lorraine) Hamilton of Plainville, MA and 9 Grandchildren. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday in 11:00 St. Michaels Church 399 Hope Street Bristol.
