Henry Charbonneau Obituary

Henry Hutchinson Charbonneau, 7, passed away on October 14, 2022 while at home comforted by his family. Henry was born on June 1, 2015 to parents Cherie and Benjamin Charbonneau, and his older brother Lincoln, all of Barrington, RI.

Henry certainly made the most of his time with us. A comedian who loved April Fool’s Day, invisible ink, and sneaking out of his room each morning to scare his family with a big “BOO!”, Henry was also a student at Primrose Hill Elementary School who was a mathematician beyond his years, an athlete who loved to swim and play baseball, a foodie who amongst many things loved salmon, prosciutto and French macarons, a romantic who would send gifts/flowers to school “girlfriends”, a shopaholic in all situations, an animal lover who adored his cat and guinea pigs, and a Best Friend to his older brother.

Henry enjoyed going out to eat, sharing (often food) with others, shopping, arcades, Holidays, baking bread from “wheat”, playing video games with his brother, and especially going on trips with his family.

Henry is survived by his parents, Cherie and Ben; his brother, Lincoln; his Nana and Grandpa, Elizabeth and Jay Fontaine of Portsmouth, RI; his Grandma, Christine Openshaw of Rehoboth, MA; his Pepe and Meme, David Charbonneau and Cheryl Cagno of Portsmouth, RI; his Aunt and Uncle, Katelyn and Kyle Fontaine and their son Krosby of Bristol, RI; his Aunt and Uncle, Jamie and Alexander Charbonneau of Warren, RI; and several Great Aunts and Uncles.

Henry was preceded in death by Ronald Williams of Fairhaven, MA and Steven Tragar of Rehoboth, MA.
