Helen T. (King) Graustein

Helen T. Graustein 92, of Barrington, RI died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 6, 2020. She was the wife of the late Ernest J. Graustein.  Born in Cambridge, MA., she was the daughter of William and Helen King.

Helen had been a resident of Barrington for the last 53 Years. She was the loving mother of six children, Robert Graustein, the late Richard Graustein his wife Grace, the late Stephen Graustein, Diane Hutton her husband Gordon, Karen Power, Greg Graustein and his wife Dee.

She was very loved by 10 Grandchildren. Tara, Sandra (deceased), Christina, Laura, Ashley, Brittany, Katelyn, Patrick, Hailey and Hannah, and 10 Great Granchildren.

Helen and her husband were long standing parishioners of St. Alexander’s Church in Warren, RI. Her favorite place in the whole world was NewFound Lake in N.H., where she spent every summer with family and friends.

Her interests included golf, bowling and playing bridge with the girls. She spent many years as a volunteer for the breast cancer society. She looked forward to weekend yard sales and holiday fairs.

She traveled the world with her husband but when at home it was all about her family. Helen was so proud of her Irish heritage.
