Harold J. Gallant

Gallant, Harold J., 93, formerly of Barrington, Riverside, and recently Anchor Bay Assisted Living died on September 28, 2021 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Marion (Fisher) Gallant.

Born in Barrington, he was the son of the late Dominic and Margaret (Cavanaugh) Gallant.

Mr. Gallant spent his entire career as a toolmaker for General Electric and then enjoyed 33 active years of retirement. He spent his time golfing, bowling and traveling as well as volunteering with Meals on Wheels and Barrington Congregational Church.

Mr. Gallant was a United States Navy Veteran stationed in Trinidad during World War II.

He is survived by daughters, Elizabeth MacPherson and husband Douglas of Pawtucket, Barbara Sizer of Warwick and Denise Harris and husband Paul of Delaware, one sister, Louise Fisher of Riverside, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
