Grace A. (Goodwin) Patterson

Grace A, (Goodwin) Patterson 99, of Barrington, RI went to be with our Lord on July 8, 2022 at the age of 99. Grace was the widow of James D. Patterson Sr.

Grace was born on May 4, 1923 in N. Berwick , Main to the late W. Carlton Goodwin an M. Ethel (Purdy) Goodwin-Foster.

Grace was a devoted Baptist and was a Sunday school teacher in both Valley Falls and Central Falls, Baptist churches for the 15 years prior to moving to Barrington in 1956.

Grace was employed by the R.I. Lace Company in Barrington for many years, she was also employed in the jewelry industry at Catamore Jewelry as well as Trifari  Jewelry.

Grace was last employed by the Fuller Brush Co. as a manager and sales rep until retirement in 1985. She leaves two sons, James D. Patterson Jr., and his wife Susan, Dexter E. Patterson Sr. and his wife Susan, both of Riverside, RI as well as 7 Grandchildren, and 10 Great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Earl Foster and Edith Condap.

Visitation will be on Monday July 18, 2022 in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett  Ave Riverside, RI  02915 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM followed by burial in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail Exeter, RI 02885 at 11;00 AM.
