George W. Brown, 94, of Riverside, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Frances E. (Cost) Brown. He is survived by one daughter, Adria English or Riverside, two sons, George W. Brown, Jr. of Coventry and Richard A. Brown of Warwick, 6 Grandchildren. 13 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great- Great Grandchildren. George also leaves behind a sister, Elenore Peterson of Coventry, RI and three deceased sister's, Grace Kaiser, Mary Coutcher and Elizabeth Mernick and two deceased brothers, Fred and Joseph Brown. He was a life long member of the Free Masons-St. Andrew's Lodge, the American Legion, the Knights Templa no. 13 and was a WW II Veteran. His funeral service will be held Friday May 25, 2018 at 9:00 AM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Ave, Riverside,  with a burial to follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
