Elizabeth Garrido

Garrido, Elizabeth, 93, of East Providence, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the wife of the late Anthony Garrido. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Maria "Mary" (Ribiero) O'Connell. She is survived by two sons, Arthur and Robert O'Connell, two daughters, Sandra Shah and Shirley Garrido, a sister, Ann Gaylor. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service, Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside, RI 02915. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 4, 2018 from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, RI 02914. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
