LOIGNON, DOREEN F. (Dori) 59 of Barrington, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 9, 2019.  Dori was beloved wife of James R. Loignon and mother of Michael and Daniel Loignon.  Dori was born in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Robert Popolillo and Jean (Leddy) Popolillo.  Dori is also survived by her brothers Robert of Barrington and Michael of Riverside.    She most recently worked at Citizens Bank as a corporate trainer.  Dori was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering her time working with children to help them learn how to read.  Dori’s love and compassion for her family and friends will be greatly missed.  She will also be greatly missed by her best friend and companion Abbey.

There will be a celebration of Dori’s life on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside, RI 02915. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Saint Luke's Catholic Church, 108 Washington Road, Barrington, RI 02806. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made the to the Alzheimer’s Association of Rhode Island.
