Quinn, David A., 78, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Riverside RI, passed away on December 4, 2017 with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Faith H. Quinn for almost 60 yrs. and son to the late John Quinn and Louise Mitchell and was predeceased by two brothers Dennis and Douglas Quinn.
Dave worked for WRH Industries for 34 yrs, then he worked at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley Davidson for nine years which he loved doing after his retirement. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast & belonged to the Violators MC; he was also very involved with RIMA and a member of Ocean State HOG Chapter.
He was very active with tropical fish for many years, breeding, showing and judging. Dave was President of the Tropical Fish Society of RI and also President of the Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies.
He is survived by two daughters, Patti Quinn of Glocester RI, and Robin Silva of Ormond Beach, FL. He also leaves one sister Lynette St. Pierre of Bristol, RI, many nieces and nephews and 3 furry kids, Zora, Luci & Lucki.
A celebration of life will take place on January 7, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM at 38 River Drive, Ormond Beach, FL 32176. In Lieu of flowers, you can donate to your favorite charity in his (name or memory).
