Clarence H. Blaydes, Jr., of Riverside, a proud Navy Veteran, passed away on October 1, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Flynn) Blaydes, his sons, Stephen, John and Robert, all of Riverside, his daughters, Judith Blaydes of Riverside and Jean Mann of Providence, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Bruce Blaydes, his sister, Phyllis Petter and three half sisters, Muriel Poland, Ruth Motta, and Mildred Osborne.

     Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 8:30 A.M.-9:30 A.M. in the Smith-Mason Funeral Home, 398 Willett Avenue, Riverside, RI 02915. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM in Saint Brendan's Church, 60 Turner Ave, Riverside, RI. A burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822.
