Picerelli, Catherine of dorr Avenue died December 3rd in her own home. Born in Barrington She was the daughter of the late Peter J. Picerelli and Marie T. (Cardone) Picerelli. Moving to Riverside as a very small child she lived there all of her life. She worked as the accountant for the former Deep Rock Bottling Company of Barrington from 1939 to 1972. Miss Picerelli’s father Peter has started the business in 1922 delivering spring water to forming the bottling company. She was a 1937 graduate of Bryant College in Providence. In the early 1980’s Miss Picerelli donated 17 acres of land off Washington Road in Barrington to the nature conservatory. This parcel is now known as Pic - Will Preserve in memory of the Picerelli and Wilson families. She is survived by nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Anthony and Peter Picerelli. She will be dearly missed by her caregiver and companion Anelia “Emma” Palumbo. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday At 9AM from the Smith-Mason Funeral Home 398 Willett ave, Riverside RI 02915 with a mass of Christian burial at 10AM in St. Brendan's Church Turner Avenue, Riverside. Burial At 11 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Providence. Calling hours will be held On Tuesday From 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donation in Catherine's name To the charity of your choice.
