HARROWER, BETTY A , 96, passed away on January 12 2019 in Providence, RI.  She was the wife of the late Robert M. Harrower.  Born in Barrington, RI, she was the daughter of the late Burton R. Taylor and Rosa E. Swedberg and sister of the late Burton A. Taylor.

Betty is survived by her four children: Judy and her husband Joe of Narragansett, Nancy and her husband David of East Greenwich, Robert Jr. and his wife Kathy of Everett, WA and Kristen and her husband John of North Scituate.  She was also the grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of six. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a lifelong Barrington resident; she was born, raised and lived in the same neighborhood almost her entire life. Growing up she loved swimming off Annawamscutt Beach and shared that love with her family. Betty also enjoyed antiquing, bird watching, gardening and spending time with her family.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday April 27, 2019 at Saints Matthew and Mark Episcopal Church, 5 Chapel St., Barrington, RI at 12 PM.   Burial will be private.
