Carol DeSousa Obituary

Carol A. DeSousa, 79, of Barrington, RI passed away
peacefully on February 21, 2024 after an eleven month
battle with leukemia. She was the wife of the late
Antonio (Tony) DeSousa.
Born August 5,1944, she was the daughter of the late
Herbert (Lester) and Estelle (Rushlow) Montgomery
and was predeceased by her sister Faye Pratt and
brother Ronald Montgomery.
Carol leaves behind her daughters Karen DeSousa of
Barrington, RI, Doreen Silva and her husband Kevin of
Riverside, RI, grandchildren Marisa and Ryan, as well as
other beloved extended family members.
Carol was a co-owner along with her husband of the former
business Antonio’s (Bill’s) Market for 14 years in Barrington, RI.
She also resided and worked in the Twin Mountain, NH area
for 20 years. Nothing brought Carol more happiness than
spending time with her family, going on cruises and enjoying her
backyard pool.
